Our story
A home, a vineyard and a wish to grow something that lasts.
Il Ceppo d’Argento is first and foremost a family place, shaped by the passing of seasons and generations.
The beginning, with Margherita.
Margherita founded the farm. In the same year, the house and vineyard were established in Bibbiano, in the province of Reggio Emilia. They became the setting for the family's story.
A new generation.
Thirty years later, Roberto took over the management of the farm. This marked a new phase, building on the work of the previous generation and looking towards the farm's first own-label wines.
Our roots look to the future.
The vineyard remains at the heart of our work. Alongside it, eleven beehives support our honey production. We are also developing our first own-label wine project.

Behind every season there are people, gestures and knowledge handed down over time.
This is the story we want to share: not just that of a vineyard, but also of the people who continue to care for it.
